The Ultimate Oregon Coast Multi-Day Tour from Eugene, Oregon

Coastal Hikes and Culinary Delights

A 6-day guided hiking adventure from Eugene to Newport by Best Oregon Tours. Coastal forests, dramatic beaches. Local accommodations. Expert local guides. Max 20 guests.

The Oregon Coast Deserves More Than a Day Trip

Most visitors experience the coast from Highway 101 — scenic pullouts, quick photo stops, rushed schedules. You see the highlights but miss what makes this place worth returning to.

This tour is designed for visitors who want to actually explore the coast, not just drive past it. Starting in Eugene, we will spend 4 days on the Oregon coast filled with hiking, birding, history, culture, and culinary delights.

Best Oregon Tours has been guiding small-group adventures throughout Oregon since 2011. We're a locally owned, family-run business built on decades of exploring these landscapes and a commitment to responsible tourism. Our guides follow Leave No Trace principles, support local businesses at every stop, and prioritize authentic experiences over tourist checklists. We don't rush you through scripted itineraries — we adjust routes based on weather, wildlife activity, and what the group wants to see. That's the difference between a corporate tour operator and guides who actually know and care about this special region of Oregon.

Tracey Leigh Yager

Group Leader

With 20 years of experience as a naturalist and interpreter, my journey into the heart of the wild truly began on the Oregon Coast in 2005. While my adventures have taken me from the volcanic eruptions of Hawaii to the mountains of Patagonia, the Oregon Coast remains my first love and the place where my life’s work took root.

It was here that I first fell in love with the Great Pacific Conifer Forest, a landscape that has become an indelible part of my identity. Beyond the towering trees and jagged cliffs, the coast is woven into my family’s history—three of my four children were born here, and this rugged shoreline is, quite simply, a part of who we are.
